It was so great to see so many members last month for The Research University Civic Engagement Network (TRUCEN) Annual Meeting! Over 50 TRUCEN members joined us at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities for three days of knowledge-sharing, networking, and collaboration around the most pressing issues and opportunities to advance civic and community engagement.
A huge thank you to the University of Minnesota for hosting this event. The Annual Meeting was successful largely in part to the contributions of their staff—especially Heidi Barajas, Interim Associate Vice President for Public Engagement, Amber Cameron, Director of Public Engagement Initiatives, Diane Gihl, Executive Assistant, and Laurel Hirt, Director of the Center for Community-Engaged Learning.
Take a look at some of the highlights from this great event!
