Shallyn Sims is a Program Coordinator for Campus Compact's AmeriCorps VISTA Program. She is based in Port Charlotte, Florida.

Prior to joining Campus Compact, Shallyn has experience serving as an AmeriCorps VISTA member with the Garden of Eatin' through Keep America Beautiful, working in the Office of Service-Learning & Civic Engagement at Florida Gulf Coast University, and supporting Teach for America programming in St. Louis, MO. Shallyn is passionate about alleviating poverty and engaging the next generation of service leaders in communities. When not working, Shallyn enjoys traveling, exploring national and state parks as well as spending time with her husband and dog.
