This famous quotation by anthropologist Margaret Mead sums up why I am excited to be a Student Design Fellow: “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has.” My exposure to civic engagement in higher education has greatly enriched my little corner of the globe, and my hope through this fellowship is to spread that goodness.
