Nicole joined Campus Compact as a VISTA Leader after finishing two years of service with AmeriCorps. Her first year of service was as an SCI AmeriCorps Member at UMass Dartmouth, working to recruit volunteers, recruit Community Partners to collaborate with, and overall increase students involvement with their local community. Her second year of service was as a Campus Compact AmeriCorps VISTA member at UMass Dartmouth, where she focused on Food Justice by recruiting volunteers to get involved with their local food justice system, hosting events to teach students about the local food justice system, and working with the on-campus food pantry. She graduated from UMass Dartmouth in 2021 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Crime and Justice Studies and is passionate about working to better our world through bettering our communities. In her spare time, you can find her cooking, hanging out with friends, going to concerts, playing video games, or spending time with her dog, Bowser.
