Join the Community Engagement Professional Competency Research Fellows team

Seeking fellows to contribute to our process to refine the community engagement professional competency model.

As we approach the 10th anniversary of Lina Dostillio's 2017 publication, The Community Engagement Professional in Higher Education: A Competency Model for An Emerging Field, we are seeking fellows to join the research team for our ongoing project to refine the community engagement professional model and the functional work areas on which it is based.

The research fellows will collaborate with lead investigators to assemble a refined competency model for Community Engagement Professionals. Based on their areas of interest, fellows will be assigned one of the nine functional areas of focus, which include Anchor & Economic Opportunity, Extension, Place-Based Engagement, Chief Engagement Leadership, Social Impact Research and Community Affairs, Cross-Functional Practice, Student-Centered Engagement, Faculty-Focused Engagement, and Community Partnerships. The fellows will meet regularly with the Primary Investigators as a full research team and with an assigned co-research fellow within their functional area.

To apply, visit: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/PGZRMKM. Priority applications are due November 11.

Compensation

A modest stipend and a gratis registration to Compact26 will be provided at the completion of the fellowship.
