We've spent the last few months listening and building a robust agenda for this academic year to serve the needs of our coalition. Communities & networks

Convening and building member communities and networks that create deep connections and capacity for impact

  • R-1 institutions: TRUCEN, The Research University Engagement Network is accepting members. Contact Clayton Hurd at [email protected] to learn more about membership and the sustained conversation groups. The first meeting of the year will take place this month!
  • Community Colleges: sign up for the Community Colleges Network Relaunch event on 9/23 at 12:00 pm EDT to find out more about our robust agenda for our community college members
  • Rural institutions: sign up to join a focus group to develop a new vision for the Rural Engaged Network

  • Make sure your institution's Newman Civic Fellow is registered for the upcoming Annual Convening of Fellows in Boston, MA
  • Join an info session on 9/13 at 2pm Eastern to learn more about the Pathways for Public Service and Civic Engagement and how the framework can be used to improve the quality of student programming

Recognition, advocacy & visibility

Recognizing excellence and advocating for the critical role of higher education in our society

  • Nominate a colleague or apply to receive a Campus Compact Impact Award. Awards are available for faculty, Community Engagement Professionals, community colleges, and four-year institutions. Applications are due September 30!
  • Sign up to join future visioning sessions focused on launching an initiative to create Campus Museums of Service around the country as part of our partnership with the National Museum & Center for Service
  • Get in touch to express interest in joining the Pathways for Public Service and Civic Engagement Working Group (or join in on our info session on 9/13)
