Personal Statement
I first became interested in economic inequality through the Civic Scholar program. This occurred during our visit to a youth homeless shelter House of Hope. My passion grew as I started my internship with the Greater Green Bay Blueprint to End and Prevent Homelessness. I got to see a lot of what goes on within agencies working to better the community. During this time I learned how difficult it is for agencies to make change within the community. On campus I started a club to work towards bettering the Green Bay area based on social work values and social justice.
