College Renaissance Corps (CRCorps) is a new national leadership program from Campus Compact. The program empowers community college students to become industry and community leaders while working to boost enrollment rates at community colleges for high-demand industry programs.

Through CRCorps, students will connect with industry leaders, build transferrable career skills, and serve as examples of how to thrive in the workforce with a community college education.

What we do

Our vision is to empower community college students in high-demand fields to break barriers and become leaders in the workplace and their communities. CRCorps will:

  • Recruit community college students enrolled in high-demand industry programs to serve as Industry Ambassadors for the academic year
  • Industry Ambassadors leverage social media to recruit classmates, adult learners, youth, and high school students to enroll in similar fields at their community college
  • Industry ambassadors gain opportunities to learn directly from industry experts, participate in professional development workshops, and engage in tailored networking experiences
