Earn credentials in core areas of community engagement practice and receive digital badges that validate your knowledge, skills, experience, and critical commitments in those areas. Each credential recognizes and validates your competency in a specific area of higher education community engagement practice.
Purpose of the program:
The purpose of the credentialing program is to provide civic and community engagement practitioners with a means to gain formal recognition for the knowledge and skills they possess and to enhance their professional competencies in ways that encourage more effective, inclusive, and equity-based partnerships and practices.
How it works:
Become fully certified by earning 5 credentials across a range of competency areas that are critical to success in higher education civic and community engagement. Earn all 3 essential credentials, and choose 2 elective credentials to be eligible to apply for full certification.
