Personal Statement

I have always had a heart centered on service and an interest in the betterment of the area where I am currently situated. There is not any issue with a barrier too large to overcome. Through my experiences internationally and getting to support different organizations in the region where I go to school, I have had the incredible opportunity to work with individuals to help make positive change in the areas of education, support for low-income families, food insecurity, and various other fields. In doing this, I have had the opportunity to meet some incredible people, intelligent minds, strong hearts, and change-makers. That has been one of the most humbling parts of doing this work, and one of the main reasons I continue to do it.
