With the midterm election around the corner, Campus Compact knows there are a lot of organizations out there in the Student Voting space. Who are the best partners for your campus? Who is working with faculty, staff, and students? How is a campus supposed to know who they should turn to for all their campus election engagement needs?
The Students Learn Students Vote Coalition has all the answers! Check out this helpful infographic to learn more about some of the nonpartisan student democratic engagement organizations that may be helpful on your campus. Campus Compact is proud to be part of the SLSV Coalition and to work with dozens of great organizations across the country providing resources for campus election engagement.
In addition to all the great resources available through SLSV, here are some great Campus Compact resources:
- On June 9th, we held a webinar with ALL IN Democracy Challenge on Community College Voter Registration. Find the recording at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dp4qL5KbWN4. The next in that series will be Increasing Voter Turnout at Community Colleges, held June 23rd at 2pm EST.
- The Campus Compact Safe Elections Project helped bring more students out as poll workers in 2020 and still has some great resources for recruiting student poll workers.
- Electoral Engagement in Community Colleges knowledge hub
- Campus Compact is working with MTV and the Campus Votes Project to help bring early voting sites to college campuses with their Voting Early is Easier campaign.
