Senior Manager for Policy & Leadership Engagement

Anthony Medina serves as the Senior Manager for Policy & Leadership Engagement at Campus Compact, where he helps advance the organization’s federal policy strategy, strengthen board governance and engagement, and cultivates meaningful relationships with presidents and senior leaders across the network.

Anthony brings a diverse background in higher education, civic and community engagement, coalition building, and strategic partnership development. Prior to joining Campus Compact, he worked with organizations including the Historic East Baltimore Community Action Coalition (HEBCAC), the Coalition of Urban and Metropolitan Universities (CUMU), and Gonzaga University's Center for Community Engagement (CCE), where he led national initiatives, supported institutional change efforts, supported place-based community engagement strategies, and cultivated partnerships among colleges and universities, nonprofit organizations, community leaders, and cross-sector stakeholders.

At Campus Compact, Anthony works closely with university presidents, senior administrators, board members, D.C.-based advocacy colleagues, and partners to to align policy priorities, board-governance practices, and senior leadership engagement with the organization’s mission. His work is grounded in relationship-centered leadership, collaboration, and a deep commitment to community and the public purpose of higher education.
