The Assistant Director is expected to model and encourage involvement in the community and effective program planning. The Assistant Director functions as a counselor/educator; providing programs and services that embrace the values of social justice, community engagement, ethical decision-making, diversity and service to others. Specifically, the duties include: counseling, educational program management, event planning, advising, and community partnership coordination. All responsibilities require close collaboration with SOURCE’s Director and staff, students and student leaders, student governments, Student Affairs deans, campus colleagues, and community-based organizations in Baltimore City.
