She shared insights from her Race Card Project, which has collected over 750,000 submissions on race and identity. The event, followed by a conversation with Ayana Elizabeth Johnson, highlighted the ongoing need for dialogue and action in advancing social change.

Amherst College Donates $2.5 Million to Town of Amherst

Amherst College has pledged $2.5 million to the Town of Amherst, with payments of $750,000 each year from 2026 to 2028. The funds will support Amherst Public Schools, fire and ambulance services, and infrastructure improvements. KCC Dental Hygiene Clinic Offers Community Services at Reduced Fees

Kellogg Community College (KCC) Dental Hygiene students provide affordable dental care to the community through the KCC Dental Hygiene Clinic, offering services such as cleanings, exams, and X-rays. The clinic serves around 100 patients weekly during the spring semester, with appointments conducted by students as part of their hands-on training. This initiative benefits individuals, particularly those without insurance, and provides valuable learning experiences for students pursuing careers in dental hygiene.
