Personal Statement
I recently spent 7 weeks interning at the Utah State Capitol with the majority caucus. This experience deepened my love for policy and public service. With Utah being a supermajority, it interested me to see the pushback from the minority caucus. Seeing the process, I now have a better understanding of social issues within the state. Collaboration is key to fixing these issues. Every side has the right to voice their opinion, and my strategy on solving issues is founded on that belief. Civil and mutual collaboration can lead to more potential for solving issues.
