Campus Compact announced today the appointment of Marisol Morales as Vice President for Network Leadership. Morales is currently Director of the Office of Civic and Community Engagement at the University of La Verne and comes to the role as an established leader in the field of community engagement.
As Vice President for Network Leadership, Morales will provide guidance, inspiration, and practical support to network staff across the country, helping state and regional directors achieve local goals while advancing shared network priorities. “Since I began this work in 2005, I have counted on the support and leadership of Campus Compact,” said Morales. “I am excited to be part of this evolving organization and to be working with amazing colleagues from across the country to support civic and community engagement at a national level. I hope to bring my experience as a student who was transformed through community engagement, as a community partner who partnered authentically with universities, and as a community engagement professional into the position of Vice President for Network Leadership.”
Campus Compact President Andrew Seligsohn commented, “Marisol’s wisdom, intellect, experience, leadership skills, and commitment to equity and inclusion are immensely valuable assets for our network.
