Feinstein Center: strong relationships with a small number of organizations
The Feinstein Center at Providence College bases its service work in a handful of strong relationships with a small number of organizations in Rhode Island. The Center divides its relationships with community organizations into two categories: placement partners and core partners. Three dozen placement partners work with faculty on a semester-to-semester basis, making matches for specific projects. Four core partners develop deep, long-term relations with the Center. Representatives from these agencies work with faculty on strategic planning, course design, and teaching; they share resources and space and involve students on multiple levels of the agency s operations.
