The annual Massachusetts AmeriCorps Opening Day was held on Friday, November 1st, 2023. AmeriCorps members serving throughout Massachusetts gathered at the Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center, where they had the opportunity to network and celebrate the beginning of their service year. During the event, members heard from various speakers and alumni who discussed the start of AmeriCorps and all its programs and participated in volunteer service projects in the Boston area.
