GSL 5: Online proposal

The 5th Global Service-Learning Summit, to be held at the University of Notre Dame, seeks to create a space for active listening and critical dialogue between secular and faith-based organizations that are committed to co-educating and collaborating for social change and that wish to recover and re-examine the values which underlie the work.

We seek theory, research, evaluation and assessment that advances quality in partnerships, practice, programming and pedagogy. Proposals may include theoretically and empirically grounded critique, theoretically robust models, and/or qualitative, quantitative or mixed methods inquiry with respect to the categories below. The GSL Summit Series is interactive and engaging, and all presenters must plan for the ways in which their sessions will foster participant conversation and engagement.

To review the Summit themes, session formats, information to include in a proposal, key dates, and other additional information, please visit the GSL 5 Call for Proposals.

Deadline:  Due to numerous requests and high volume of interest, the Summit Coordinating Committee has extended the final submission deadline to 11:59 pm EDT on Sunday, August 13, 2017.
