In this session: Participants gain insights into market-based approaches as a means of addressing affordable housing, including public-private partnerships, and other policy instruments that focus on the demand side of the market, programs that help households reach financial benchmarks that make housing affordable, including Low-Income Housing Tax Credits, Federal Subsidized Housing, Community Land Trusts (nonprofit corporations that hold land in a trust for affordable housing, or other assets on behalf of a neighborhood or community) and re-purposing existing housing into "Naturally Occurring Affordable Housing" (NOAH).
