Higher Education and National Service Building America’s Future

Higher Education institutions have been a fixture of national service from the beginning of the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS) through both AmeriCorps programs and the extensive contributions of Learn and Serve America Higher Education.

We will convene on Thursday, September 12, beginning at 11:30 am, to celebrate the successes of the higher education programs in creating a sustained culture of community-engaged scholarship and academically rich community service at US colleges and universities. Please join us to participate in conversations about the foundations for this work, the exciting work that is happening today, and where we are headed for the future.
