Clarissa Laguardia is the Student Engagement Coordinator at Campus Compact. She is based in Boston, Massachusetts.
Clarissa manages the nationwide Newman Civic Fellowship program. She's a '20 Newman alumna. Prior to Campus Compact, Clarissa worked as the language access manager for the California Census Office, sat on the board of county and state committees around elections, managed a small business, started a grassroots organization, and focused her energy heavily in community engagement. Clarissa earned her master's degree in Public Policy and Administration for California State University Sacramento. Clarissa is passionate about equal access and social justice. She believes freedom and democracy belong to everyone. She lives in Boston, MA with her partner and three perritos.
